NOW AUDITIONING: VIOLIN, VOICE, PIANO AND GUITAR TEACHERS Studio Papillon is hiring the finest musicians to offer high quality musical instruction in student homes. Teachers will be matched with a specific area to minimize commuting. Successful candidates must have excellent organizational skills and a professional outlook on teaching. A love of children is essential. Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or conservatory. Compensation is competitive and on a contract/1099 basis. Teachers may establish how many hours/students they would like to teach during the academic year and must sign a contract committing to the 2010-2011 academic year. On the administrative side, Studio Papillon handles all of the advertising, payroll, billing and organization of recitals. Our recitals are charming, upscale affairs, which we hold twice a year. New to the studio this year, we will have an interactive on-line system, where your students can log their practice and ask you questions. The system will also allow you to enter your schedule on the calendar, which will send automatic emails to remind your students of their lesson every week and track your time. We are interested in quality teachers and quality students, so we are excited about engaging the students and helping them succeed through practice and student-teacher teamwork.
