STUDIO POLICIES



Referral Discounts:

1.  Studio Papillon appreciates you spreading the word about our music lessons.  For each newly enrolled client that you have referred, Studio Papillon will offer you a $20 discount toward your next invoice.  Please email us the name of the family referred to ensure that you receive proper credit.  Please direct emails to info@studiopapillon.com.

2,  Limit one discount per month.  

3,  If you have banked referrals, the discount will be applied to future invoices, subject to clause #4 of this section.

4.  To be eligible for referral discounts, your account must always remain current and paid in full.  


Cancellation and Rescheduling:


1. Twenty-four (24) hours notice is required prior to canceling or rescheduling a lesson.

2.  Should your teacher not receive 24 hours notice prior to a cancellation or rescheduling request, you will be billed for the lesson.



Payment:

1.  Studio Papillon bills retroactively. On the first of each month, you will receive an invoice for the prior calendar month of lessons. Invoices are due by the 10th of the month.  

2.  Exception:  Jennifer Scott bills in advance for her lessons, which are payable by the 1st of every month.


3.  Payments may be made on-line by check or credit card.  

4.  Clients are charged for all lessons, including the first lesson with a teacher. 

5.  For returned checks, a $25 fee shall be assessed.   

6.  Studio Papillon reserves the right to assess a 15% late fee for overdue invoices.


7.  If you choose to send a paper check, please make checks payable to Studio Papillon, Inc. and send them to:  P.O. Box 6520, Falls Church, VA 22040


8.  Overdue invoices will result in the suspension of lessons.   

9.  Studio Papillon does not offer refunds.

10.  Please direct all billing inquiries to accounting@studiopapillon.com.  Teachers are independent contractors and are not authorized to bind the corporation on billing or any other matters.



Substitute Teachers:

1.  Studio Papillon reserves the right to assign substitute teachers to ensure continuous service to its students.


2.  The assignment of substitute teachers will be on a temporary basis and limited to handling issues of teacher vacations, illnesses and turnovers.



Lesson Time slots:

1.  Billing for lessons takes place on a month-to-month basis.  Lessons may be terminated by a teacher or client. 


2.  If a client takes a break from lessons, Studio Papillon will not guarantee the availability of a teacher or particular time slot.  A break is considered to be taken if a client cancels 3 or more lessons in a 30 day period.

3.  A client may notify a teacher of their wish to continue upon returning from a break or vacation.  If the teacher has any availability, the teacher will notify the client of any slots that are still available upon their return. 

4.  To discontinue lessons, please provide 30 days notice to the studio at info@studiopapillon.com
 on or before the 1st of the month prior to ceasing lessons. 

Client Acknowledgement:

1.  A client acknowledges, consents to and agrees to abide by the above policies  by virtue of continuing to engage the services of Studio Papillon, Inc.
